Apartment 4 at the Chalet Bergzeit is your cosy, dog-friendly holiday apartment in the Harz – in Braunlage-Hohegeiß, right on the edge of the Harz National Park. With 48 m² it sleeps up to 4 guests, ideal for couples or small families who want to enjoy nature and peace and quiet together with their four-legged friend. Hiking trails start at the front door, so the first walk of the day leads straight into the forest without getting in the car.

Living and cooking

In the living area, a 55″ smart TV with Netflix makes for relaxed evenings after a long day outdoors. The separate, fully equipped kitchen has a hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, plus all the utensils, crockery and glasses you need. You cook just like at home, and the dining table seats four for breakfast or dinner together.

Sleeping

The bedroom has a king-size box-spring bed, a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV for a film night in bed. A sofa bed with full mattresses in the living room sleeps two more, for example the children.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin.

Travelling with friends or the wider family? Apartment 4 can be combined with other apartments in the house. As the Chalet Bergzeit Full House you book all six apartments together for up to 16 guests. If you fancy a little extra luxury, take a look at the Deluxe Apartment 7: 88 m² for up to 6 guests with a private terrace and a hot tub at 38 °C.

The Chalet Bergzeit

The Chalet Bergzeit at Lange Straße 3 brings six separate apartments together under one roof. The garden has a playground with swing and climbing frame, plus a seating area, benches and a barbecue for summer evenings together. Free parking is available right at the house and free Wi-Fi in every apartment. The chalet is a non-smoking house.

Location

Hohegeiß is the highest district of Braunlage, in the southern Harz right on the edge of the Harz National Park. Hiking and mountain bike trails start at the front door, in winter there is a ski lift and sledging hill in the village, and the Wurmberg ski area is just a few kilometres away. For families, the wildlife park and adventure playgrounds nearby are well worth a trip.

Good to know

The linen package with bed linen and towels is mandatory and costs €20 per person. Dogs are welcome for a flat fee per stay. A cot and high chair are available on request. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
