Über das Appartement

Studio 3 at Chalet Bergzeit is a child-friendly apartment in the Harz – compact, cosy and with everything parents and children need for relaxed days. The house is in Hohegeiss, the highest district of Braunlage, right on the edge of the Harz National Park. With 43 m² it sleeps up to 4 guests, ideal for your family holiday. Your dog is very welcome.

Living and cooking

The living and sleeping area is open-plan, while the fully equipped kitchen is a separate room. It has a hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer plus utensils, crockery and glasses, and the dining table seats four for family meals. After a day outdoors the children can watch their favourite films on the 55″ smart TV with Netflix, and free Wi-Fi is included.

Sleeping

The sleeping area has a large king-size box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm) with a comfortable mattress and a wardrobe for your things. The sofa bed in the living area turns into a comfortable bed (160 x 200 cm) with two proper mattresses in one easy move, so the children have a bed of their own. A cot and high chair are available on request.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a spacious shower cubicle, toilet and a washbasin with a large mirror and plenty of shelf space for your toiletries.

Need more space?

Chalet Bergzeit consists of six separate apartments under one roof – ideal when grandparents, friends or a second family come along. Simply book more apartments, or the whole house as the Chalet Bergzeit Full House for up to 16 guests. For evenings together, Deluxe Apartment 7 with its own terrace and hot tub is the perfect meeting point.

Chalet Bergzeit

In the garden the children can let off steam on the playground with swing and climbing frame while you relax in the seating area or on the benches. A barbecue is ready for evenings outdoors. Free parking is available right at the house. Chalet Bergzeit is a non-smoking house.

Location

Hohegeiss lies in the southern Harz, directly on the Harz National Park. Hiking and mountain bike trails start at the front door. In winter there is a ski lift and a sledging hill in the village, and the Wurmberg ski area is just a few kilometres away. A wildlife park and adventure playgrounds nearby make the holiday especially varied for children.

Good to know

The linen package with bed linen and towels is mandatory and costs €20 per person. A flat fee per stay applies for dogs. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
