Über das Appartement

The Family Wellness Suite at Chalet Bergzeit is your Harz holiday apartment for 12: it combines Deluxe Apartment 7 with Studio 5 and Studio 6 in a single booking with around 200 m², three kitchens and three bathrooms. Ideal for two or three families travelling together or an extended family who want to holiday together in Braunlage-Hohegeiss right by the Harz National Park – and still close their own door in the evening. Your dog is very welcome.

Living and cooking

Each of the three apartments has its own fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer plus crockery and glasses. Every family can enjoy breakfast at its own pace, while dinner is shared: Deluxe Apartment 7 has a large dining table for 8 and a playroom for the children. All apartments have a 55″ smart TV with Netflix and free Wi-Fi.

Terrace with hot tub

The heart of the suite is the private terrace of Deluxe Apartment 7 with barbecue and a 38 °C outdoor hot tub – after a summer hike or a day on the slopes in winter. Add to that the very large corner balcony of Studio 5, perfect for summer sunsets, and the balcony of Studio 6 with direct access to the garden and playground.

Sleeping

Deluxe Apartment 7 (88 m²) has a parents’ bedroom with a king-size box-spring bed, a children’s room with two single box-spring beds and a sofa bed for two in the living room. Studio 5 (62 m²) and Studio 6 (52 m²) each offer a king-size box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm) and a sofa bed (160 x 200 cm) with proper mattresses. The suite can be booked for up to 12 guests. A cot and high chair are available on request.

Bathrooms

Each apartment has its own bathroom, so nobody has to queue in the morning. Studio 5 has a bathtub and shower, Studio 6 a shower room.

Need more space?

If more friends or relatives are coming, you can add further apartments: Studio 2, Studio 3 and Apartment 4. The whole house with all six apartments is available as Chalet Bergzeit Full House for up to 16 guests.

Chalet Bergzeit

Chalet Bergzeit at Lange Straße 3 brings six separate apartments together under one roof. The garden has a playground with swing and climbing frame, a seating area, benches and a barbecue. Free parking is available right at the house. The chalet is non-smoking.

Location

Hohegeiss is the highest district of Braunlage, in the southern Harz right by the Harz National Park. Hiking and mountain-bike trails start at the front door; in winter there is a ski lift and sledging hill in the village, and the Wurmberg ski area is just a few kilometres away. A wildlife park and adventure playgrounds nearby add variety.

Good to know

The linen package with bed linen and towels is mandatory and costs €20 per person. A flat fee per stay applies for dogs. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
